What is Transactional and Bulk Email?

Transactional Email

Transactional email messages are sent in direct response to user activities. Examples include:

  • Written responses to client emails.
  • Payment receipts.
  • Account sign-ups.
  • Password resets.
  • Communications with service providers.
  • Correspondence with business partners.

Bulk Email

Bulk email messages are sent without being triggered by user actions. Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Marketing campaigns.
  • Promotional offers.
  • Newsletters.
  • Invitations.
  • Monthly calendars.
  • Product updates.
  • Service updates.
  • Announcements of important changes.
  • Outreach email.
  • Email for solicitation purposes.
  • Group and / or mailing list email messages.

Note: Bulk email is not permitted under any account services. If you plan to send bulk emails, you must use a dedicated bulk email platform. We suggest exploring the following bulk email services:

Email Policy - No Spam Policy

Unsolicited Commercial Email (UCE) or Unsolicited Bulk Email (UBE), as well as solicited bulk email, originating from our network or associated with a BlogLogistics server, is strictly prohibited.

Prohibited Activities Include:

  • Solicited bulk email or commercial email.
  • Unsolicited bulk email or commercial email.
  • Any email promoting websites hosted on a BlogLogistics server but sent from an email address not associated with a BlogLogistics client account.
  • Email sent from an address associated with a BlogLogistics account that promotes unrelated websites.

Clients Must Not Use BlogLogistics Services For:

  • Chain letters.
  • Junk mail.
  • Bulk email.
  • Mailing lists.
  • Multi-recipient email messages.
  • Mail-merge email messages.
  • "Cold call" or introductory email messages.
  • Any form of marketing email.
  • Any use of distribution lists.

If a client requires bulk email services, including marketing email (singular or bulk emailing), such email services should be sent from third-party bulk mailing providers. BlogLogistics reserves the right to deactivate or terminate any account(s) upon any indication of such activity using BlogLogistics servers, without notice.
